This bracelet is strung by hand from rose Quartz beads chosen for consistent size and even tone, so the strand reads as a continuous run of colour rather than a patchwork of shades.
The colour runs soft blush pink, sometimes with a milky translucency. The pink comes from trace titanium or manganese. Material with strong colour is usually the more translucent; larger beads tend to read paler than small ones.
Beads are polished individually, then checked for size and finish before stringing. Slight differences in tone, translucency and internal texture are normal in natural stone and are part of what distinguishes it from synthetic material.
Rose quartz has been worked into beads and carvings since at least 600 BC. In folk tradition it is the stone most closely associated with affection and friendship.
In traditional lore rose quartz belongs to friendship and to softness of feeling, and it has been carved into small keepsakes for thousands of years for exactly that reason. Most wearers simply find the colour easy — a pink that flatters warm and cool skin alike.
Wear it on its own or stacked against contrasting strands — it sits well beside both lighter and darker tones. It is light enough for all-day wear.
A soft dry cloth is all it needs. Store it out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from perfume and household chemicals.
Traditional meanings and colour associations are offered for interest and for the pleasure of the story only. Each piece is natural stone, sold as jewellery, and no claim of any kind is made about its effect on the wearer.
